Now these aren’t necessarily where the locals eat, but these are some of my favorite places to eat in Destin Florida!
Don’t have time to read? Watch the video:
Now let’s get started!
1. Rockin Tocos
Rockin Tacos is not your average taco stand! Rockin Taco is located at the Boardwalk right on the beach. They have all your normal Mexican food, but with fresh seafood. Their seafood is provided by their own seafood processing facility located a few doors down. You know when they say fresh out of the ocean, they mean it!
You can visit Racking Tacos at: 1450 Miracle Strip Pkwy. SE
Ft. Walton Beach, FL 32548
At The Boardwalk
2. Harry T’s
Harry T’s is named after the famous trapeze artist Harrison Baben who was also known as the Flying Harry T. The restaurant features a circus theme and some of the best views of the ocean from a restaurant in Destin. Harry T’s serves American food and some huge shrimp. Check out the huge shrimp in my video!
You can visit Harry T’s at: 46 Harbor Blvd., Destin, Florida 32541
3. Donut Hole
The Donut Hole is more like a combination bakery and cafe. They have lots of breakfast options and lots of sweets too! Their cakes are pretty delicious. They don’t have a great online presence, so I can’t link to their menu, but here is a link from 30a.com about the Donut Hole.
You can visit them at: 635 Harbor Blvd, Destin, FL 32541
4. Crab Island Cantina (Closed)
The Crab Island Cantina has changed management a few times, so it is possible they will open back up in the future.
The Back Porch resturant has beachfront views and straight from the Gulf! The Back Proch resturant got their start in 1974 and the rest is history.
Bubba Gump Shrimp Company and is a more touristy place, but somewhere you should still check out! Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. features many different types of seafood plus some other types of “American” food.
7. Grilling Hotdogs and Hamburgers
Now this isn’t a restaurant in Destin, but it’s important to have family time on vacation! We like to come back after a long week of hitting up all the restaurants and have a nice family picnic. Next time you are in Destin try it out!
I hope you enjoyed learning about some of my favorite restaurants in Destin, Florida! Let me know what your favorite restaurants are and where I should visit next!
